exposure for your business
In the months leading up to the Field Days each year, regional media coverage of the Field Days eclipses all other Wimmera events and with this region being a major agriculture and agribusiness hot-spot, the Field Days generates interest across Victoria and around the world.
While there is a lot of self-generating interest in the event, the Wimmera Machinery Field Days invests considerable time, effort and money to promote the event and guarantee saturation exposure.
Advertising through television, radio, electronic and print media, market research and direct marketing through the Field Days ‘Official Program’ guarantee a significant audience every year. Radio coverage is particularly extensive; covering five Victorian regions. The Field Days professionally produces a full colour ‘Official Program’ which is distributed free to thousands of people across the Wimmera, Mallee and Grampians region before the event and is available free to all patrons at the gate
The Wimmera Machinery Field Days official program is an important part of the event, serving as a key guide for patrons, high circulation advertising medium for exhibitors and businesses and an important take-home souvenir and historical record of the Field Days.
new product releases
The Wimmera Machinery Field Days is the perfect opportunity for businesses to launch or promote any new products they have released on the market in the past 12 months. Media outlets, regional, state and national, are always interested in ground-breaking or new product stories. New product releases are also a special feature section in the Field Days’ Official Program.

“I’ve been going to the field days for more than 30 years. Originally, I would go out three weeks before and work hard laying brick walls. We sold heaters, bricks and pavers at the time and the field days was where we really kicked off. We’ve been with Barbeques Galore for 28 years now and we’re still going out there. We get a chance to meet people; to renew acquaintances. It’s a way of establishing good will and usually sets a season up for us. It’s a chance to get to the people and really does work for us.”

“The field days are really just a good showcase for all our products. Most people associate us with air-conditioners but this gives us a chance to show what we do for the agricultural industry as well. It’s the sort of event where we get a lot of follow-up. Some of our biggest overseas contracts have come from the field days.”
